To inform, enable, and entertain - SanchezGtrs.com is a free resource for guitarists that are interested in expanding their guitar playing skills. If you find the material in this site useful, then please consider donating to keep the project running and to develop new material. The lessons library is in its infancy stages; however it grows continously. So, I encourage you to frequently visit us to check on the new developments, videos and lessons.
In essence, we have three main subdivisions in our lessons plan. First, if you are a beginner guitarist, then we suggest that you start with our Lessons for Beginners series.
If you already have a few chops, then we recommend that you start directly with Lessons for Itermediate.
If you are complete Beginner, then go ahead and check our QuickStart Series Lessons for Beginners.
Greetings my fellow guitarists! It's been a while since I last posted something on the site. There are a few changes coming to SanchezGtrs. First change you'll notice soon is the change in location of our download section. We are transitioning our documents to Google Drive by the end of this May. The change should make navigating for documents much easier for you.
Secondly, we are going to close down the forum section of our site. Unforunately, we haven't been receiving too many requests from our site users for a support forum. The Forum will be shutting down by the end of the summer.
I hope these changes to the site are well recieved and can help us concentrate more on our core area, which is teaching you how to play the guitar.
Blessings!

Good summertime my fellow rockers! There's no cure for the summertime blues.

Hello my dear guitarists. The summer is right around the corner and so are new guitar video lessons. First in line, is a series of videos prepared solely for the practicing guitarist that is looking for excercises for their playing hand.
We've all been there, wanting to be able to play our own songs but feel blocked by which chord or note to play after the first few lines. Thus, we'll be discusing how to work with progressions and how to apply them to our day-to-day guitar playing.
We have lots of great guitar lessons planed for the next couple of month; so be sure not to miss a beat and visit us regularly.
Keep rokin!

Hello fellow rockers! I'm very excited to present our newest series of lessons on Scales. Last week I worked on the video lesson Playing the G Major Scale starting with the root on the sixth string. This week I'll be finishing the G Major Scale with a root note on the fith string.
This leaves us with more scales, such as the Natural Minor Scale; which I'll be working on next week. So keep practicing and playing great guitar!

Happy Easter and Happy Rockin! Spring is here and with it comes a new series of guitar maintenance tips, which is our new Guitar Tips set of videos we'll be posting shortly in our YouTube Channel.
Update on the Cliffs of Dover Challenge. I haven't had much of a chance to practice the song as much as I would like too. But; it was quite evident after a few weeks of practice and heavy string bending at the 12 - 16 frets that my beloved Strat needed its frets redressed. I have owned and played the Strat on a weekly basis non-stop for a little over 6 years and this is the first time it has gone to the Guitar Shop to have major maintenance done. So, I hope to have my beloved Strat "Sarah" with me in a few weeks. In the meantime, I continue to work on some other awesome tutorials.
Until then, Happy Jamming!
A.
